Cascara Berry Dyed Cotton Fabric

Sale Price:$29.00 Original Price:$42.00
sale

We love this gray-green for apparel and home decor, but it is very difficult to capture in photos.

Like most buckthorns, the berries of Pacific Northwest native Cascara Sagrada are full of color. They look blackish-purple, but can change dramatically as the pH of the dye bath (or ink pot) is raised. We use our in-house wood ash water to bring out the greens.

1 yd. (appx. 59” x 36”) Supima Cotton Interlock. 100% American Grown and Knit.

This fabric is perfect for creating loungewear, baby clothing, or maternity tops. Supima Cotton interlock is smooth and strong with a bit of stretch.
